• Hummingbirds cannot walk or hop on their feet, but they can scooch sideways while perched.

• Hummingbirds can fly forward, backward, up, down, and sideways.

• FUN FACT: Hummingbirds don’t suck nectar through their bills, they lick it with their tongues which are fringed and forked.
